Well today we had our Dollars & Sense Fundraiser!!!
It was so much fun!
We raised so much money for charity!
Our team worked together so well that the fundraiser wasn’t stressful at all which was great!

I am down 17.5lbs total now!!!
I am exactly 50% to my goal weight!
We went on a field trip to Cleo in 7 Oaks mall tonight and they taught us how to dress for our body type.
I got a really awesome leather jacket and scarf.

Today I used my new electric spiralizer and made a new recipe I came up with.
Turkey pepperoni, shrimp and zucchini jambalaya. Works out to 217 calories a bowl and tastes soooooooo good!

My husband sent me out with his credit card and told me to pick up a few things for dinner.
He said to pick up something for dessert as well and I could get anything I wanted.
Looked at all the yummy desserts after seeing all the calories in them I came home with a watermelon hahaha He was a bit shocked.

I won for most inches lost this week YAY!
We also had a great guest speaker that is going to help me find my purpose in life!!!

Went to Red Robin for dinner and I discovered that they have a Healthy Options section!
I got the Ensenada Chicken Platter it is a salad that comes with 2 chicken breasts.
It has 49g protein and is only 431 calories!!!

My husband’s birthday.
I did a work 600 calorie burn workout to try to make up for the unhealthy arena food.
We went to a Canucks game and I discovered something really amazing.
I tried to eat foods with sugar and I found I just couldn’t. They didn’t taste good anymore.
Do I didn’t eat them.
I did get to enjoy a nice hot dog though!

Went to the gym with Amber and ran on the treadmill for a light workout 200 calories burned would have been longer but all the running I have been doing lately has given me big blisters on my heels.
On a better note I found some delicious protein bars at Costco. 21g Protein, 15g Fiber and only 1g Sugar. Doesn’t hurt that they taste really really good!

Group meeting #2 I got weighed in to see how much I lost last week… I couldn’t believe it! 3.6lbs!!! I tied for most percentage of body weight lost but came in second because I didn’t lose as much as the other woman in inches. That’s okay though it definitely feels great that I am doing as well as I am!
Monday Jan 30th
Today I ran at home on my Bowflex tread climber twice in 1 day. 300 Calories in 34 minutes in the morning and 300 calories in 36 minutes the second time in the afternoon for a total of 600 calories! Pretty happy with that! I had a healthy chicken and veggie wrap for dinner and a plate of veggies and dip as a snack. Feeling healthy!

I went to the gym and ran like I have never ran before and probably ever will again. Pretty sure I should have died haha. I ran for a full 60 minutes straight with a 10 minute cool down after. I ran 10km in an hour! and burned 505 calories doing it! I am so proud of myself! Definitely a personal best!

I came up with a new really low calorie dish that is so delicious!
1.5 cups of spiralized zucchini instead of pasta noodles with pasta sauce, a chicken breast and real Parmesan cheese. Only 259 calories!!!

My birthday! OMG! I didn’t realize how hard it would be to not just have whatever I want to eat. And have you ever looked at how many calories there is in alcohol?!? Guess I will be cutting that out too!
Tip of the day: If you ever cant find a shaker for your meal replacement smoothie a child’s sippy cup has a lid for shaking and is exactly 8oz just sayin!

My first meeting. So nervous. I don’t know anyone. I watched a few of the ladies do their weigh in and some have lost 10lbs!!! How am I going to make up for that? The ladies were very welcoming and the first meeting went pretty well. We had a guest speaker Karina Lanting of Project K. She was hilarious, very informative and I learned allot from her about health and social networking. I had my first weigh in, 179.6lbs! This will be the last time I weigh this much!

My start is a little bit different than the other ladies. I originally got accepted into the challenge with everyone else but because I was on family vacation and going to miss the first group meet and greet and group picture (You may notice I am not in the group picture) I was eliminated and some one else got my spot. I was distraught to be honest. I had been searching for a long time for something for me. Something to help me loose all the weight put on by 4.5 years of multiple pregnancies, miscarriages, depression and bored/depressed unhealthy eating. I have tried time and time again to eat healthy and stick to it but just couldn’t. I needed the knowledge of how to do it right. Then the day after I returned home from my vacation I got the best news EVER! Someone had to drop out of the challenge and there was a spot available for me after all. I was excited and scared. I was a week behind. I had missed some important stuff. How was I ever going to catch up? I guess I will just have to work extra hard and prove that I am worthy of this opportunity!
